New: Mapping Clarity Public API

We are thrilled to announce the immediate availability of the Mapping Clarity Public API.

This release opens Mapping Clarity’s mapping engine to developers, so classification can be integrated directly into applications, workflows, and data pipelines.

Build smarter tools for your customers

By programmatically accessing Mapping Clarity, you can automate complex categorization tasks in real time. The API supports high-value use cases including:

• Automated budgeting tools: ingest raw bank statement line items and map them to precise budget categories.
• Standardized benchmarking: map General Ledger transaction items from different charts of accounts into standardized benchmarking categories for more accurate comparison.

Getting started

Access to the API is managed with API keys generated in the platform.

1. Log in to Mapping Clarity.
2. Navigate to the Tenant Admin menu.
3. Select API Keys from the dropdown or sidebar.
4. Click Create API Key.

You can view, manage, and revoke active keys from the dashboard at any time.
